Meeting on Young Philanthropy and Youth-Led Social Development: During the week of February 7th, 2011, we convened a global network of young philanthropists and leaders of youth movements at the United Nations in New York City to talk about partnership.  As a community we sought to:  1) Understand the value of youth-led social development; 2) Develop strategies for reaching out and engaging young wealth-holders in youth-led social development projects and organizations; 3) Forging lasting partnerships across social, economic, political and cultural divides.

This inaugural event gave birth to a movement and now global young philanthropy events are convening all of the world as Nexus Global Youth Summits
